Richard Paul Evans
Richard was born in Salt Lake City, Utah where he graduated from Cottonwood High School and then the University of Utah with a B.A. degree. Before becoming a writer, Richard was an advertising executive, clay animator, and a candidate for state legislature. His first book The Christmas Box was intended as a gift for his daughters and subsequently took him to the national publishing arena.
Richard's The Christmas Box, Timepiece, and A Perfect Day have all been televised by award winning actors James Earl Jones, Rob Lowe, Christopher Lloyd, and more. He still lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and 5 children.
